Alexandria Corza Art – Terms & Conditions

​

Payment & Rights\

​

• Full payment is required before final files are delivered and before any rights to the design are transferred.

• Once full payment is received, Alexandria Corza Art grants the client an exclusive license to use the final approved cover design for their book and related promotional materials.

• If payment is not completed within 60 days of final approval (unless otherwise agreed in writing), all rights to the design revert to Alexandria Corza Art, and any payments already made are non-refundable.

 

Deliverables​

​

• The client will receive final high-resolution files in agreed-upon formats (typically JPEG and/or PDF).

• Alternate sizing in the same design ratio may be provided upon request.

• Editable source files (PSD, layered working files, raw stock files, etc.) are not included.

 

Design Use Restrictions

​

• The final design may not be altered, edited, recreated, or modified by the client or another designer without written permission from Alexandria Corza Art.

• The client may crop or resize the final approved cover for promotional use related to the contracted book.

 

Client Responsibility for Supplied Materials

​

• The client is responsible for securing legal rights to any materials they provide, including images, illustrations, logos, fonts, or artwork.

• Alexandria Corza Art is not liable for copyright, trademark, licensing, or ownership disputes involving client-supplied materials.

 

Stock Image Licensing

 

• Any stock assets purchased for the project are licensed according to the provider’s terms.

• If additional licensing is required due to high print volume or expanded use, the client is responsible for those costs.

• Unedited stock files cannot be provided to the client.

 

Ownership

​

• The client receives rights to use the final completed design only.

• All editable files, source files, working files, and original design construction remain the property of Alexandria Corza Art.

 

Refunds & Project Termination

​

• Due to the custom nature of design work, payments are generally non-refundable once work has begun.

• Alexandria Corza Art reserves the right to end a project if communication breaks down, terms are violated, or the working relationship becomes unworkable. Partial refunds may be issued at Alexandria Corza Art’s discretion.

 

Confidentiality

​

• Client materials and project information will be kept confidential and used only for project-related purposes.

 

Credit

​

• Cover credit is appreciated in the published book where possible:   Cover Design by Alexandria Corza Art

 

 Liability

​

• Alexandria Corza Art is not responsible for indirect losses, publishing delays, vendor issues, printing errors, lost revenue, or problems arising from client-provided content.

• Any liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific project.

 

Force Majeure

​

• Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, internet outages, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.

 

General Terms

​

• These terms apply to all related project materials, including ebook covers, print covers, audiobook covers, and promotional graphics.

• Terms may be updated at any time and supersede previous versions.

• By commissioning Alexandria Corza Art, the client agrees to these terms.
